ELSingle-phase or three-phase UPS - Which to choose
Single-phase or three-phase UPS? How to choose based on your supply and your load, from 1-3 kVA single-phase models to 30-600 kVA three-phase ones.
There are two options for the electrical supply:
Single-phase, with a voltage of 220-230V, 1x35A and a maximum power of 8000W. Three-phase, with a voltage of 380–430V, 3x35A and a maximum power of 24000W.
Depending on the supply available at the electrical panel and the application that needs protection, the corresponding UPS can be used:
• Single-phase input / output, Plug n’ Play, with an apparent power of 1-3 kVA. In UPS systems of this category, devices can be plugged directly into the UPS's output outlets.
• Single-phase input / output with a terminal block, with an apparent power of 6-10kVA.

• Three-phase input / single-phase output, with an apparent power of 6-10kVA.

Single-phase UPS systems with a terminal block and all three-phase UPS systems may only be connected to the device or network they protect by a qualified technician, through an electrical panel.
