The Lande® Safebox B IP55 / Outdoor network rack cabinet series is designed with the safety and protection of critical equipment and cabling in mind, in demanding outdoor conditions. It has an IP55 ingress protection rating against humidity and dust, and a passive airflow and air filtering system that quickly removes hot air from the equipment. Where needed, the passive airflow filters can be replaced with suitable fans fitted with a thermostat for extra protection. The 7U-9U sizes have a single security lock, while the 12U-16U sizes have a double lock. Every package includes the grounding cables and dedicated brackets for wall mounting. The Safebox B / Outdoor network cabinet series is an ideal way to protect equipment for any professional need. Maximum load capacity is 300 kg when wall-mounted and 800 kg when floor-standing.

Racks are where passive equipment (patch panels, cables) and active equipment (servers, UPS units, routers) are mounted and stored. They provide easy access, protection from damage and smooth operation, and are suitable for both professional and home settings.

What warranty do rack cabinets (racks) come with?

Rack cabinets are covered by a 5-year warranty from purchase, accessories by 8 years, and fans and power strips by 12 months, with the registration form completed within 10 days and a copy of the invoice. Otherwise, the warranty starts from the date of sale.

Are there accessories that should go with a rack?

Yes, such as patch panels, shelves, power strips, cable organizers, fans and grounding kits.

Can I install a UPS inside a rack?

Yes, there are rackmount UPS models specially designed for installation in rack cabinets.
